Arroz Ala Cubana is a dish mostly eaten in many Spanish speaking countries. Its defining ingredients are steamed rice, fried egg and fried banana. Arroz Ala Cubana has been eaten in the Philippines since Spanish colonial times.
INGREDIENTS
- 500g ground beef
- 200g mixed vegetable
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- salt and pepper, to taste
- cooking oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas
PROCEDURE
- In a large cooking pan, saute onion and garlic until soft.
- Add in the ground beef and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper, to taste.
- Add oyster sauce and mix well.
- Put-in mixed vegetables and mix until well combined. Cook for another 8 to 10 minutes.
- Lastly, add in raisins and mix. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
- Transfer in individual plates with steamed rice, fried egg and fried banana.
- Serve and Enjoy!
