GARLIC AND CHEESE QUESADILLAS

INGREDIENTS
  •  5 pcs tortilla wrapper· 
  •  ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • cheddar cheese 
SALSA INGREDIENTS 
  •  5 pcs tomatoes
  • 1 small onion 
  •   cilantro 
  •  2 tbsp tomato sauce

PROCEDURE
  1.    Place tortilla on a plat surface
  2.  Spread 1 tsp mayonnaise on the half part of tortilla wrapper
  3.  Spread minced garlic
  4.   Add grated cheese
  5.   Fold it over
  6.   In a skillet over medium heat toast each side of the tortilla until cheese melted
  7.  Cut tortilla in half and place it on a clean plate
  8.  To make the salsa, put sliced tomatoes in a food processor together with onion, cilantro and tomato sauce and blend them together.
  9.   Serve and Enjoy!

SWEET AND SOUR PORK

Chinese Style Sweet and Sour Pork

Sweet and sour is a generic term that encompasses many styles of sauce, cuisine and cooking methods. It is commonly used in China, it has been used in England since the Middle Ages, and remains popular in Europe and in the Americas.

INGREDIENTS

  •  500g pork, cut into small pieces
  • 2 medium sized red bell pepper,  diced
  • 2 medium sized green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup spring onion, chopped
  • 1/2 inch ginger, sliced
  • 2 pcs hot chili pepper
  • 1 medium sized onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 pcs star anise
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil

PROCEDURE

  1.  In a saucepan combine vinegar, soy sauce, star anise, hot chili pepper, sugar and half of the ginger and bring to a boil until sugar dissolved. Set aside.
  2. Place the oil in a pan then heat-up. Fry the pork until cooked, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Add salt.
  4. Separate the pork from the oil. Set aside.
  5. In the same pan, saute the garlic, onion and the remaining ginger for about 3 minutes.
  6. Add the fried pork and stir fry for about 2 minutes.
  7. Add the red and green bell peppers and mix.
  8. Pour-in the soy sauce mixture and mix well.
  9. Season with ground black pepper.
  10. Lastly, add the chopped spring onion and cook for another 2 minutes.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy!

ARROZ ALA CUBANA

Arroz Ala Cubana

Arroz Ala Cubana is a dish mostly eaten in many Spanish speaking countries. Its defining ingredients are steamed rice, fried egg and fried banana. Arroz Ala Cubana has been eaten in the Philippines since Spanish colonial times.


INGREDIENTS


  • 500g ground beef
  • 200g mixed vegetable
  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • cooking oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 bananas



PROCEDURE

  1. In a large cooking pan, saute onion and garlic until soft.
  2. Add in the ground beef and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  4. Add oyster sauce and mix well.
  5. Put-in mixed vegetables and mix until well combined. Cook for another 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Lastly, add in raisins and mix. Adjust seasoning according to taste.
  7. Transfer in individual plates with steamed rice, fried egg and fried banana.
  8. Serve and Enjoy!

ALL DAY BREAKFAST DELIGHT

All Day Breakfast Delight

The omelette is one of the easiest and most inexpensive meals, and it works beautifully for breakfast, lunch or dinner. An omelette or omelet is a dish made from beaten eggs fried with butter or oil in a frying pan (without stirring as in scrambled egg). It is quite common for the omelette to be folded around a filling such as cheese, onion, vegetables, mushrooms, meat (often ham or bacon), or some combination of the above. Whole eggs or sometimes only egg whites are beaten with a small amount of milk, cream, or even water.


INGREDIENTS

  •  4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup boiled chicken breast, diced
  • 3 tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp green bell pepper
  • 1/3 cup button mushroom, thinly sliced
  •  2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste



PROCEDURE

  1. Preheat shallow non-stick pan.
  2. Heat oil and saute onion till wilted.
  3. Add in bell pepper, mushroom and chicken breast.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.
  5. Beat the eggs and season.
  6. Heat oil and pour in eggs. Cook till eggs are softly set, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add chicken breast mixture.
  8. Then sprinkle cheese on top and continue to heat through 1 minute.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
