INGREDIENTS
- 300g chicken (any part of your choice)
- 1/2 cup glutinous rice
- 1 small sized onion, minced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb sized ginger, julienne
- 1 pc chicken broth cube
- ground black pepper
- fish sauce
- cooking oil
- 3 cups water
PROCEDURE
- In a pot, heat the oil then saute the garlic, onion and ginger.
- Add in chicken pieces and cook until outer layer color turns golden brown.
- Then add the glutinous rice and stir fry for a minute.
- Now, pour in the water, cover the pot and bring to a boil.
- Stir occasionally and simmer until the chicken is fully cooked (about 15 to 20 minutes).
- Add the chicken cube, stir until the cube melts.
- Add the fish sauce and ground black pepper according to taste.
- Stir until done.
